Riccioni is a city in the province of Emilia-Romagna, in northern Italy. It is famous for being a tourist destination and one of the best seaside resort towns in north Italy. Young crowds are drawn to Riccione for its happening nightlife and discos on the Adriatic Riviera and in the center of town. The busiest streets are Viale Dante and Viale Ceccarini, which have a number of nightclubs, bars, hotels, and discos, and during the day are crowded with walkers and people watchers. The best shopping is done on Viale Ceccarini, and it has a number of high fashion luxury boutiques. And Riccione also attracts vacationing families due to its two theme parks, Oltremare, and Aquafan. The seafront is a favorite for bikers, and cycling is a very popular sport in the region. The most historic attraction in the town is the summer home of Benito Mussolini, known as Angolani’s Castle.
